  • US to get $41 billion if online gambling is legalized.

    According to price water house coopers research, if online gambling is legalized in United States then US treasury could fill in with $41 billion worth of tax.

    Now many congressman are planning to support legalization of online gambling along with Barney Frank, who is head of this community.

    Now the question is when and how online gambling legalization will take place?, because next month that is in December UIGEA ( Unlawful Internet gambling Enforcement Act ) will stretch its wings in United States curbing all online gambling transactions and seizing bank accounts.

  • Firepay, payment processor company pays hefty fine.

    An Internet based firm, Optimal Group Inc. have been penalized to pay a huge sum of $19.2 million to New York State after their eWallet service was linked to online gambling operations, it was announced yesterday.

    The United States District Attorney for the Southern District of New York revealed that they have reached a non-prosecution agreement with the company over the billions of dollars that their Firepay service processed from the year 04 to 06

    Still online gambling payment processing is prohibited in United States and consideration regarding legal online gambling is going on.
