Rumors flowing around that PartyGaming has settled with U.S DOJ. United States justice Department has asked whooping $2 billion to clear all past charges against them and no prosecution for any employee during US travel ,in an ongoing internet gambling dispute.
PartyGaming officer said that they are in no hurry in oder to settle with DOJ as it will take months for the storm to calm down.
Who knows what will happen in next few months or so. will PartyGaming pay massive amount to clear charges?, only Time will tell us.
I am shocked at how the USA is acting. I understand they want to protect their own gambling empire (vegas - indian casinos - New York - Florida) but that they would bend to such low levels. That is amazing.
Is it surprising that they are letting everyone go with a fine and a slap on the wrist...no!
